Website and Email Hosting

Website and email hosting is a critical part of your project if you want to stay in touch with your customers.

You will need a ‘host’ for your website. A host is a server which is set up to send webpages, over the internet, to a web browser. Webalite has a dedicated server (and other customised solutions) which is used to host websites, email and other services.

We've got a number of different plans that will suit your hosting needs - from email only, to multiple self replicating servers.

Email only hosting

If your starting out and haven't got you're website set up yet, but you need to email people from your own domain name then this is a good option.

Website and email hosting.

Our standard business package gives you email and website hosting onn our server. Because we used a shared server we can keep the montly cost down for you.

Hosting, including email, for one year (including 2 months free) the investment will be only $300* + GST per annum, or $30* + GST per month.

Custom hosting

For larger projects we recommend investing a little more to get a VPS - Virtual Private Server which means you have more computing power available for your website. Also we can offer dedicated servers which give you the benefit of being the only one using the server. For other projects we can also extend the hosting to Cloud Servers or mutliple replicating servers. This all gets complicated so please contact us to figure out what you need.

Domain Names

You will probably want a domain name for your website. A domain name is like an address for your website, and email, for example our domain is webalite.co.nz. To register a New Zealand domain the investment will be only $45* + GST. Also, there will be an annual renewal fee of $45* + GST.
