BGX - Balancing Gas Exchange.
The BGX has been developed for Transact who manage the Maui Pipeline.
The BGX is a trading platform for the surplus supply and demand of natural gas on the Maui pipeline. The website gives 'up to the minute' information on puts and calls so the companies and the managers of the pipeline can monitor the market.
The site is currently in the "sandbox environment" to allow the users (from the major power companies) to use the site before going live in June 2009
